Why the inner weld bead ruins your product.

The inner weld bead is the metallic residue left inside the tube as a result of the ERW process. In standard tubing it can reach between 0.3 mm and 0.8 mm — uncontrolled and inconsistent between batches. When the axle rotates inside the tube, that bead acts as a physical obstacle and produces direct consequences on the finished product.

NOISE

Perceptible from the first hours. In clinical environments, a reportable incident.

VIBRATION

Micro-impacts transmitted to the finished product. Detectable as vibration in the handle or structure.

WEAR

The axle and tube inner wall wear out through friction. Service life is drastically reduced.

VARIABLE PLAY

The bead varies between batches. Assembly is unpredictable: sometimes the fit is correct, sometimes there is interference.
