Three ranges. One manufacturer. The exact solution for every application.
Each Delmàs range solves a different technical problem. None is better than another: each is the right one for its application.
Bright surface. Direct chrome and zinc plating, no prior polishing.
When the tube is the visible part of a product or is going to receive a galvanic finish, its surface quality is everything. The PREMIUM range arrives with a pore-free surface from the mill — ready to go directly into the galvanic bath with no intermediate preparation.
Full inner and outer diameter control. Bead ≤ 0.15 mm.
When an axle rotates inside the tube, a 0.5 mm bead generates friction, noise and wear from the very first cycle. OPTIM controls that bead to ≤ 0.15 mm and guarantees the exact diameter — including non-standard sizes such as 8.1 mm — so the axle fits with no play.
Smooth bright mirror bore. The alternative to seamless tube.
The PRECISE range delivers a smooth, bright, irregularity-free bore — the same finish level as seamless extruded tube, without its cost or its lead times. The direct alternative for gas dampers, hydraulic cylinders and high inner-precision applications at 40–80% lower cost.
The same raw material. Three levels of transformation and control.
Standard tube controls only the OD with wide tolerance. Delmàs extends that control all the way to the bore — depending on what each application needs.
Bright surface · Direct chrome plating without polishing
OD+ID control · Bead ≤ 0.15 mm · Silent rotation
Mirror bore · Seamless alternative · −40–80% cost

Every industrial application has a specific technical requirement. Select your case to go straight to the right range.
If the tube is visible or going to be chrome-plated, the answer is PREMIUM.
PREMIUM tube arrives with a bright, pore-free surface that allows direct chrome, zinc, brass or nickel plating — no polishing, no preparation. It eliminates a complete process step on your line and rejects from base tube imperfections.
If the tube is going to be chrome-plated AND an axle rotates inside it, the OPTIM range offers both. Contact us.
Ask about a hybrid case →If an axle rotates inside the tube or there is an internal mechanism, the answer is OPTIM.
The standard weld bead (0.3–0.8 mm) creates friction, noise and wear from the very first cycle. OPTIM controls that bead to ≤ 0.15 mm and guarantees the exact diameter — including non-standard sizes such as 8.1 mm — so the axle fits perfectly with no play.
If the application requires a completely smooth bore — gas damper, hydraulic cylinder — the right level is PRECISE.
View PRECISE range →If you need a perfect bore or a seamless alternative, the answer is PRECISE.
What the application needs is not "seamless" — it is a smooth, precise, irregularity-free bore. And PRECISE delivers exactly that at 40–80% lower cost than extruded tube, with immediate availability and custom diameters without seamless lead times.
Between 40% and 80% of raw-material cost, with immediate availability and special diameters without weeks-long lead times.
Request a cost comparison →Lighting, fittings, furniture. The tube is visible and going to be chrome-plated. The bright surface eliminates polishing prior to the galvanic bath.
Home Sector →Fluid conveyance, gas springs, seats, closure systems. Multiple applications with different levels of required control.
Automotive Sector →Wheel axles, rollers, folding mechanisms. Inner bead control is the critical factor for silent rotation and service life.
Mobility Sector →Gas springs, cylinders, hydraulics, precision guides. The seamless alternative where the tube bore is the critical parameter.
Engineering Sector →Don't know which range you need? We do.
