Precision tubing for cable routing, electrical enclosures and supports

The technical challenge of electrical application
The cable has to pass cleanly
Tubing that routes cable cannot have a rough bore or a pronounced weld bead: the cable snags, strips when pulled or simply will not pass. A controlled internal weld bead is what ensures the cable slides through without damage, both during assembly and in any future rewiring.
The enclosure is seen and touched
The structure and front of an electrical panel or enclosure are exposed elements: they carry a finish (paint, zinc, chrome) that protects them and makes them look right. That finish only comes out clean if the starting tubing is free of porosity.
Assembly is in series and to measure
The manufacturer of panels and routing assembles in volume, but every project has its own sizes. It needs the exact dimension, delivered with batch-to-batch consistency and in the format its line can process without scrap.
Applications where you will find us

Cable routing
- Clean bore for the cable The OPTIM range controls the bore with an internal weld bead ≤ 0.15 mm: the cable passes and slides without snagging or stripping, during assembly and in any subsequent rewiring.
- Bore made to measure Adjusted to the cross-section of the cable bundle it has to house, neither tight nor oversized.
- Bending without pinching the bore Controlled wall thickness and formability so that bending the routing does not reduce the bore or ovalise the tubing.

Electrical enclosure structures
- Surface ready for finishing The PREMIUM range leaves the factory with a bright, non-porous outer surface, suitable for direct paint, zinc or chrome plating, with no prior polishing stage.
- Batch-to-batch consistency The diameter calibrated to a hundredth of a millimetre ensures every subframe fits the same when the enclosure is assembled.
- Non-circular profiles Square, oval or flat oval section to EN 10305-5, when the enclosure structure calls for it.

Visible supports
- Direct finish Paint, zinc, chrome or brass plating on the as-supplied bright surface, with no prior polishing.
- Strength and lightness Thin walls with just the strength to bear the load without excess weight.
- From tubing to finished part When the customer needs it, we deliver the support already cut, bent, punched and with the finish resolved, ready to assemble.
The right range for Electrical

Cable routing and elements where the bore matters. Internal weld bead ≤ 0.15 mm, simultaneous control of bore and outer diameter

Enclosure structures and visible supports. Bright outer surface for electroplating or direct painting

Larger-diameter routing and structure that demand a finished bore. Mirror bore
Supply and service
- Coil format or cut-to-lengthCoil supply eliminates end-of-bar scrap on automated lines. Cut-to-length delivers the tubing at exactly the length specified in the drawing, ready to load into the machine.
- Tubing transformed into a component ready to assembleWhen the customer needs it, we do not deliver tubing: we deliver the finished part. Cutting, bending, punching, end forming, threading, machining and surface finishing —to drawing— ready to assemble. One manufacturer instead of several suppliers.
- Documentary certification with every deliveryWe issue certification to EN 10204-2.2 (declaration of conformity with non-specific inspection results) or EN 10204-3.1 (inspection certificate with specific results for the batch supplied), depending on what the customer's quality system requires. In-house laboratory at the plant.
Why electrical equipment manufacturers trust Delmàs
A family-owned business in La Roca del Vallès, specialising exclusively in small-diameter welded and calibrated steel tubing (⌀ 3–25 mm).
The same tubing that protects the cable inside and looks right outside, with the control of both faces that sets Delmàs apart.
The bore the routing calls for, to a hundredth of a millimetre, without being tied to a catalogue.
Manufacturing powered 100% by renewable energy since 2006, with two photovoltaic self-consumption installations at the plant.
Questions we hear every week
Why does the cable snag when passed through a tube?
Almost always because of a pronounced internal weld bead or a rough bore. The OPTIM range keeps the internal weld bead at ≤ 0.15 mm, so the cable slides cleanly during assembly and in any subsequent rewiring.
Do you manufacture the tubing with the exact bore I need?
Yes. We do not standardise: we adjust the bore to the exact cross-section of the cable bundle it has to house, to a hundredth of a millimetre.
Does the enclosure structure tubing arrive ready to paint or chrome plate?
Yes. The PREMIUM range is manufactured with a bright, non-porous outer surface, suitable for direct paint, zinc, chrome or brass plating, with no prior polishing stage.
Can you manufacture square or oval profiles for the structure?
Yes. To EN 10305-5 we manufacture square, oval, flat oval or whatever the drawing requires, across all three ranges.
Do you deliver the finished support or just the tubing?
Both. As well as the tubing, we transform the tubing into a finished component ready to assemble: cut, bent, punched and with the surface finish resolved.
