What sectors does Delmàs manufacture precision steel tubing for?
We work with automotive (OEMs and Tier 1), engineering (gas springs and hydraulics), mobility (axles, wheels and structures) and home & lighting (direct chrome and galvanizing). Within each sector we cover specific subsectors with custom tubes and parts.
Can welded tubing replace seamless tubing?
In most applications, yes. Our welded and calibrated tubing achieves tolerances equivalent to seamless drawing with 30–80% material cost savings, without sacrificing precision or finish.
What diameters and tolerances do you handle?
We manufacture from ⌀ 3 to 25 mm, with an internal burr ≤ 0.15 mm in the OPTIM range and a bright surface ready for direct chrome plating in the PREMIUM range. We customize outer diameter and wall thickness to suit your application.
Do you supply just tubing or the finished part as well?
Both. We can deliver calibrated tubing in straight lengths or coils for automated lines, or formed and finished parts ready for assembly, depending on the project.
What standards do your tubes comply with?
Depending on the range and application: EN 10305-1, EN 10305-2, EN 10305-3 and EN 10305-5, ASTM A513, ASTM 513 T5 and SAE J525 / J526, among others.
